Can my Summit Medical Consultants physician prescribe refills of my medications after discharge?

As Summit Medical Consultants providers see patients only within facilities, we are not able to order medications or refills after discharge from your Skilled or Long-Term Care Facility. Though we understand issues of convenience, it is unsafe for us to prescribe medications that we cannot monitor. Therapy, Oxygen, and Home Health visits also must be prescribed, maintained, and monitored by your Primary Care Provider.

What do I do if I receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from Summit Medical Consultants that I don’t understand?

Any questions about EOBs or bills initiated by Summit can be addressed by calling our business office at 720-644-9355. Please leave a detailed message including patient name and birthdate and date of service.
