Jessica Peterson, FNP-C

Jessica Peterson is a Nurse Practitioner originally from the Kansas City area. Jessica started her education in the medical field by graduating from Medical Assistant school in 2004 with honors. She followed up by attending Neosho County Community College in Ottawa, Kansas for obtaining both her Licensed Practical Nurse (2008) and Associate Degree in Nursing (2009). She continued her education and graduated with her Bachelor of Nursing from Colorado Christian University (2016). She worked in family practice and long term/subacute care prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Jessica once again continued her education by completing her Master Degree from Purdue University Global with emphasis on Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018 and graduated with honors.

Since becoming a nurse practitioner she has worked in internal medicine, family medicine, long term and subacute care, and developmental behavioral pediatrics. Her first job as a Nurse Practitioner created a lot of subspecialities with the private practice she worked for. Jessica was recently working with a Pulmonary/Critical care group at several long term care facilities and rehabilitation hospitals in the Denver area.

Jessica and her husband Nels, reside in Aurora with their 6 kids and 3 dogs. Between kid activities they enjoy camping, hiking, and fishing most weekends. She also enjoys volunteering at her church, scrapbooking, and gardening. Jessica is excited to be part of Summit Medical Consultants and is proud to work with such a fantastic team of healthcare professionals.
