Tsion Mamo, AGCNS-BC

Tsion Mamo is an Advanced Practice Nurse dedicated and compassionate in providing holistic care to patients and their families. Tsion earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Colorado University in 2013 and her Master’s degree in Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2018. Her training and clinical rotations include palliative care, glucose management, and pain management at the University of Colorado Hospital and infectious disease at the Veterinary Affair (VA) hospital. Tsion started her nursing career at the University of Colorado hospital, in the neurosciences department, where she was accepted to the residency program. As she gained more experience, Tsion became an expert in neuroscience and a leader in the department. Tsion served as a preceptor, mentor, department representative for the Pain Champaign, and relief charge nurse.


Tsion also worked as a Care Coordinator for Physician Health Partners, providing education in disease management and helping patients and families navigate resources during a transition of care. Tsion has volunteered for several years in local community health fairs and participated in a medical mission trip to Africa. In her free time, Tsion enjoys traveling with her family to new places and learning about new cultures.
